Mulberry Gap Mountain Bike Get-A-Way

Mulberry Gap is a rustic haven located in the Southern Appalachian Mountains of Northwest Georgia with IMBA Epic mountain bike trails outside our front door! We provide cabin and campsite lodging, delicious home cooked meals and an amazing craft beer selection, shuttles to trailheads, guided mountain bike tours, and we host a variety of clinics, events, and private groups.

(we'll take care of the rest)

Mulberry Gap is in the heart of the designated "Mountain Bike Capital of Georgia."

We're surrounded by some of the best mountain bike trails in the southeast. Pinhoti, Bear Creek, Mountaintown Creek, Windy Gap, Milma, - as well as scenic forest service roads which connect trail options - all can be ridden out of our driveway.

Hotels on cycling trips make you feel segregated. We bring the mountain bike community together all under one roof to enjoy the most human activities: eating.  Food, of course, is taken seriously here. We'll stuff your belly full of wholesome, family-style goodness in a comfy, couch laden barn. It'll feel like you’re hanging at a friend’s house. And meals should feel this way.

We want you to be in the woods, play outdoors, get to know the other guests on site, too. Swap stories over a shared campfire and a few beers with people that, in a short time, become close trail buds. Hop in a hot tub and talk about the wildlife you saw on the trail.

It's hard to find elsewhere what Mulberry Gap offers all on-site — hard to recreate the fast friendships you'll get, the commune with nature, the open table experience after ripping down trails.

We bet you'll come back again and again.

Epic singletrack - Bombing downhills - Thigh-burning climbs!

Home-cooked, family-style meals are where it's at!

Thick, Belgian waffles, sausages, cheddar grits, scrambled eggs, bottomless cups of coffee and more are all a part of the welcoming committee to the riders who are calling this place “home” for the weekend. Throughout the weekend, breakfasts included french toast, pancakes, fried potatoes, fresh fruit, biscuits, and, of course, bottomless cups of coffee. For most of the year, except when conditions prohibit, the home cooked food served at Mulberry Gap is farm-to-table and as organic as possible.

Our beer selection varies with the seasons but we always have a good mix of things to suit everyone's personal preference!

Our cabins, bathhouses, and camping spots deliver -- so you're not roughin' it too hard after your ride.

Nestled on the doorstep of the Chattahoochee National Forest and rugged Cohutta Wilderness, Mulberry Gap offers epic mountain biking right from their facilities. Let me say that Mulberry Gap more than “gets” mountain bikers, they cater to bikers’ needs with features such as never-ending plates of home cooked meals for breakfast and dinner, a bomber shower room, hot tubs, bike wash, TV, and laundry room. Not to mention a gang of like-minded individuals in the other cabin to swap stories with over dinner. There’s no cell phone coverage, but they’ll let you use the land line if need be, and there’s free wireless internet for staying connected to the outside world.
