Spring “Second Saturday” Wine Tours are coming up this year on March 9th, April 13th, May 11th, and June 8th!

(As always, you can book a private wine tour for as few as two or as many as 12 almost anytime, just reach out and we’ll help you schedule your excursion!)

Tour the local wine scene

Located in the North Georgia Mountains, we’re surrounded by some of the best ways to spend a day! Mulberry Gap has long been known as the place to go in search of the best Mountain Bike Trails, Hiking, Gravel Riding, and Glamping in the area! But we’re ALSO lucky enough to be surrounded by North Georgia wine country! With more than a DOZEN wineries within a stone’s throw, Mulberry Gap is an excellent place to start your wine adventure!

Are you STAYING ONSITE at Mulberry Gap in a Cabin, Campsite, or Car/Van Camping?

4+ Guests on the Shuttle = $105/person
Private group of only 2-3 = $125/person

Are you JOINING US FOR THE DAY only?

4+ Guests on the Shuttle = $135/person
Private group of only 2-3 = $155/person

Children 5-11 ride at roughly half price. Young Children 4 and under ride free. :)

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Transportation from Mulberry Gap, to three locations, and back to Mulberry Gap
Visits to three wineries/tasting rooms. (Substitutions for wineries may be made if necessary)
To-Go Lunch for all tour participants
Tasting fees are NOT included and the tour is priced accordingly so you can make your own flight, glass, or bottle purchases at each stop. :)

First StoP: Engelheim Vineyard

Engelheim Vinyard is a lovely jewel located just southwest of Ellijay with a wide variety of award winning wines! Awarded the 2018 Georgia Winery of the Year, we’ll start our tour off with a bang!

You can purchase wines by the glass, by the bottle, or in a four-wine tasting flight for just $12. In their Bavarian themed tasting room you can also add a collection of delicious snacks including meat and cheese platters and their famous “Hummingbird Bites” wine and cake bites. <3

Engelheim also has LIVE MUSIC playing every Saturday afternoon!

Second stop: Grapes & Ladders Winery

Our second stop will be at Grapes & Ladders Winery, a small, boutique, back-to-the-earth vinyards with excellent wines and a relaxed tasting room!

At Grapes & Ladders you can purchase wines by the glass, by the bottle, or in a three-wine tasting for $5.00.

Grapes & Ladders also has LIVE MUSIC playing every Saturday afternoon!

Third Stop: Cartecay wine & craft

Located in the heart of downtown Ellijay right on The Square, Cartecay Wine & Craft is a Tasting Room for Cartecay Vineyards serving their wines AND a selection of local craft beers!

With both WINE FLIGHTS and BEER FLIGHTS you’ll have plenty of options for tasting and exploring. Thought at this point in the day you might be more interested in one of their signature WINE SLUSHIES.

If you’d like, there’s even time that you can head out into The Square to check out the local shops, grab a coffee, or swing by the ice cream parlor before it’s time to hop back in the shuttle.

back to mulberry gap for dinner

If you’re staying at Mulberry Gap in one of our cabins or campsites, then you’re all set and we’ll have you back at your home-away-from-home in time for 6:00pm Dinner in The Barn.

If you’ve joined us for just the day, it’s likely you’ll want a little bit more time to let the wine settle after the big afternoon. We’d love for you to ALSO join us for dinner in The Barn, and perhaps some relaxation time on the deck, or a walk on the trails after dinner before you’re ready to head back out.

Saturday night dinners are $24.00 per person and are a great way to wrap up your day! The Dinner Menu varies by week, but always includes: fresh salad, a delicious protein option (chicken, pork, or beef), seasonal vegetables, fresh bread, dessert, and beverages.
