Clint grew up in Georgia and has always loved spending time outside.  Playing soccer, camping, fishing, and BMX bike riding were some of his favorite outdoor activities.  He rode his BMX bike all over the rural back roads and any trails he could find. In college, he discovered mountain biking and was immediately hooked!  He began riding and racing all around the southeast.  Clint also met his wife Danica while studying accounting at Kennesaw State University. They have 2 grown sons that are both currently attending college.  They also have 2 dogs:  Indy and Stella.  Clint found Indy dog as a starving puppy on the side of a gravel road during a bike ride.  Indy became an awesome trail dog and joins Clint on mountain bike rides all over North GA.  

After a 25+ year career as a financial controller in the medical and automotive industries, Clint and his family decided to relocate from metro Atlanta to the north Georgia mountains.  They moved to Ellijay in 2024. 

Clint's favorite type of riding these days consists of all day adventure rides and overnight bikepacking trips.  He completed his first Trans North Georgia Adventure (TNGA) in 2018 and has since completed the event 4 other times. In 2026 he is looking forward to completing more ultra distance bikepacking events including the Huracan in Florida and hopes to one day complete the Colorado Trail and the Tour Divide.
