Wild Women's MILD Weekend! // July 25-27, 2025
Wild women’s weekend: Mild Edition!
Hosted by Coach Misty Mahoy
📅 July 25–27, 2025 | 📍 Mulberry Gap – North Georgia Mountains
Wild Women's MILD Weekend!
Not “‘mild mannered"… just “less spicy” intensity! Less grind, more good times. A weekend for women who want to ride at their own pace!
Mild Edition is a laid-back take on our classic Wild Women MTB gatherings—perfect for folks from flatter home trails (looking at YOU, Florida women,) newer riders, those getting back in the saddle, or anyone who prefers flowy trails over full-on sufferfests. Led by Coach Misty Mahoy, this women-only weekend includes chill group rides, optional skill sessions, and tons of opportunities to connect, unwind, and build confidence on the bike. Come solo or rally your ride crew—this one’s about miles that feel good and memories that last.
What’s Included for the $139 base rate:
Meals from Friday dinner to Sunday to-go lunch — Fresh, homemade, and hearty! Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options are available for just $1 extra per meal.
Access to shuttles, bathhouses, hot tubs, and all the extras that make Mulberry Gap your favorite outdoor basecamp
Then add on your 2 nights of accommodations — Choose from cozy private cabins (limited), shared women’s “bunkhouse” cabins, car/van camping spots, or traditional tent sites
Expect social group rides (led, not coached), time to relax and unwind, and plenty of space to make new friends or catch up with your ride tribe.
This is a ride and vibe weekend, not a clinic—so come ready to pedal, hang out, and soak up everything the North Georgia trail scene has to offer.
WHO is this weekend for?
Florida-based or other Southeast women riders looking for mountain adventure
Intermediate+ mountain bikers comfortable on blue trails and ready for a challenge
Ladies who love campfire hangs, shared meals, and trail stories with new friends
This weekend welcomes ALL women, non-binary folks, and anyone whose gender identity aligns with this type of event.
Space is limited and spots fill fast—book now and let the countdown begin!

Intermediate to Expert Mountain Bike Skills Clinic w/Instructor Keith Bohne
For Intermediate thru Advanced Level Riders!
Is this camp right for you?
Basic fitness level and basic bike control skills are required for learning the skills portion of this camp. We will spend most of our time near Mulberry Gap working on skills. There will be an optional trail ride away from Mulberry Gap on Saturday and Sunday. No new skills will be taught on these trail rides, so should you choose not to go on these trail rides, for whatever reason, you will not miss any new information. You would just miss applying the information that everyone has learned on those trails. Lon strongly recommends that you have a dropper post to get the most from this clinic.
Go on the Shuttled Group Rides or Practice at Mulberry Gap?
Even with the shuttles, these trail rides have proven to be too physically demanding for at least one person participating in several of the camps that we have led, so we would like everyone to consider carefully if you’re in good shape for the trails or would like to stay and practice on-site at Mulberry Gap. If you have not been riding regularly, for example, about 17 miles with 1500 feet of climbing per ride at least once a week, then you would have a better experience staying at Mulberry Gap and working on your skills on the trail there. These rides are too remote to do them "off the couch.” Those who are unprepared end up not having a great time way out there; and the group who has been working towards being fit for the ride can't have as much fun waiting too long on someone. Bear Creek, Pinhoti 1 and 2, even with a shuttle, is 1700 feet of climbing and 14.5 miles of riding.

About this Clinic:
Trail riding has a lot of twists and turns, and this course will set you up with the techniques needed to corner with confidence. Whether you’re pedaling up a switchback, bombing through a berm, or coasting down an off-camber section through the forest, there are many tools that will make your riding smoother and more fun. We’ll start with a strong foundation of body position as we work with the mechanics of the bike to maintain speed and stability. Corners come in all shapes and sizes so we’ll break down how terrain affects our flow and discuss line choices as they apply to both climbing and descending.

Advanced Beginner to Expert - Co-Ed Mountain Bike Clinic
For Riders of All Abilities!
Lon Cullen
“Whether your interest is getting faster on easier trails, or riding most difficult trails with more control and performance, I can help. From weekend warriors who enjoy scenic trails and being fit, to cross country and enduro racers, I have already helped around six hundred men and women across thirteen states become more confident and skilled all-around riders.” - Lon Cullen
Even with the shuttles, these trail rides have proven to be too physically demanding for at least one person on many camps that we have led, so we would like everyone to consider carefully if you’re in good shape for the trails or would like to stay and practice on-site at Mulberry Gap. We just want everyone to have fun!! If you have any questions, please contact Lon at FurtherYourRide@gmail.com.

All Levels - Co-Ed Mountain Bike Clinic:
Is this camp right for you?
Basic fitness level and basic bike control skills are required for learning the skills portion of this camp. We will spend most of our time near Mulberry Gap working on skills. There will be an optional trail ride away from Mulberry Gap on Saturday and Sunday. No new skills will be taught on these trail rides, so should you choose not to go on these trail rides, for whatever reason, you will not miss any new information. You would just miss applying the information that everyone has heard on those trails.
Even with the shuttles, these trail rides have proven to be too physically demanding for at least one person on many camps that we have led, so we have to change that. If you have not been riding regularly, for example, about 17 miles with 1500 feet of climbing per ride at least once a week, then you would have a better experience staying at Mulberry Gap and working on your skills on the trail there. These rides are too remote to do them "off the couch," and those who have and have failed end up not having a good time way out there; and the group who has been working towards being fit for the ride can't have as much fun waiting too long on someone. Bear Creek, Pinhoti 1 and 2, even with a shuttle, is 1700 feet of climbing and 14.5 miles of riding. We just want everyone to have fun!! If you have any questions, please contact Mulberry Gap at reservations@mulberrygap.com.
